影や鏡は対象物の存在を映し出すものである。そこに映し出されたものは対象物そのものであるはずだが、実際の現実ではなくとても曖昧なもの。確かな要素と不確かな要素が混在しているところに興味を抱く。対象は変わりゆく環境と時間の流れの中で様々な表情を現す。ひとつの対象の中には常に相反する要素が共存している。もしくは対象を見ている私の中に相反する要素が共存していると言い換えられるのかもしれない。どちらにしろ私が見ている対象は移ろいゆく環境の中で様々な表情を現す。私は時間軸を超えて対象の相反する側面をとらえたい。 艶やかでこくがありバタークリームのような濃厚さを持つ油絵具は、偶然がもたらす豊かな現象を備えている。そのことがさらに私のイメージを刺激する。私は絵筆と絵具を使い塗り重ねる行為の蓄積の中でのみ対象の持つ様々な表情をとらえることができる。

Shadows and mirrors project existence of objects. The images reflected are the objects themselves, however, they are not real but obscure. I am curious about where the certainty and the uncertainty co-exist. The objective shows various expressions in the ever-changing environment and the stream of the time. There always exist things contradicting to each other together. In the other words, there maybe exist contradicting factors inside myself who is looking at the objective. My aim is to capture the conflicting aspects of the object by going beyond the time axis. The oil paint, which is fascinating and rich like butter cream, has an abundant phenomenon that is brought by chance. This arouses my imagination more over. I am capable of capturing these various expressions only by means of layering paints with my paint brushes.
